The pump test rig at IFAS is especially designed to measure efficiency factor, wear and flow ripples of fast rotating pumps, such as can be found in automotive applications.
For manufactures the measured efficiency factors are powerful terms to benchmark their components against the background of improvement of energy transmission, and reduction of wear. FLUIDON is happy to have access to the test rig, because the measured values are valuable information for the parameterization of DSHplus high quality simulation models. |
